Quince's whole model is selling grade-A Mongolian cashmere direct from the factory at roughly a fifth of traditional retail, and the crewneck is the product that made the brand. Owners are frequently shocked at the softness for the price and the genuine 2-ply cashmere construction. Reviewers consistently say it's the value play in cashmere, with the honest caveats that cashmere of any grade pills (especially early on), the colour range is more limited than premium labels, and quality has been very slightly less consistent at the scale Quince operates. Still, for real cashmere at $60, nothing close matches it.
