   Before

   Owner reviews carried a "Verified owner" chip when the reviewer had clicked through to the retailer from this site before writing.

   After

   Chip removed. A click through to a retailer is not a purchase and proves nothing about ownership.

2. Sep 1, 2026/goFound by usCommit d5267dc

   Before

   Sovrn-matched merchants were described as "CPA-verified" and counted as paying coverage, as if a click could earn a commission on a purchase.

   After

   Sovrn confirmed the account is CPC-only. Wrapped clicks are auctioned, not paid on a purchase. Coverage now counts only our own programs and network feed links.

3. Sep 1, 2026/[category]Found by usCommit ba461b7

   Before

   On phones the category page widened to about 2,150px and cards rendered about 1,000px wide.

   After

   The grid column and chip rail can shrink. The page fits the screen.

4. Aug 29, 2026/products/[slug]Found by usCommit 546e170

   Before

   A schema.org Product node was emitted with no Offer once a price went stale. Google requires an offer, review or rating on a Product.

   After

   The Product node is emitted only with a fresh Offer. Breadcrumbs always emit.

5. Aug 27, 2026/products/[slug]Found by usCommit 45157f6

   Before

   The page-view beacon on product, brand and versus pages fired from local dev servers too. Build checks pushed page views to 387 and 399 on Aug 21 and 22 against a 60 to 140 baseline.

   After

   The beacon fires on the production host only.

6. Aug 25, 2026/brands/[brand]Found by usCommit 096dc37

   Before

   Brand hubs read category facets from a live database call that timed out on about half of cold renders. Those renders returned a 500.

   After

   Facets come from the weekly bake. The live call is gone from the hub.

7. Aug 25, 2026/brands/hugo-bossFound by usCommit f5edbbd

   Before

   The catalog refresh matched feed rows by slug. Hugo Boss retitles items often, so a renamed item minted a second slug and a duplicate row.

   After

   Rows match on the feed's stable id. A slug is minted once and kept.

8. Aug 24, 2026/products/[slug]Found by usCommit 255ff81

   Before

   Prices from a mid-July feed snapshot were emitted as current schema.org Offer prices on up to about 8,000 enriched product pages.

   After

   An Offer is emitted only while the price observation is within the source cadence plus 7 days. An older price shows with its date and no Offer.

9. Jul 22, 2026/shortsFound by usCommit 2b03b41

   Before

   The category classifier matched the word "short" in "short sleeve", so short-sleeve tops were filed under shorts.

   After

   "Short sleeve" no longer matches shorts. Existing rows were reclassified.
