The verdict

Maternity skinny jean; niche fit for pregnant women seeking a tapered silhouette.

Fit

Skinny cut with maternity engineering. Tapers from knee to ankle while accommodating a growing belly. Size up if between sizes.

Quality

Skinny maternity denim uses blend or high-stretch base; expect good recovery but check for bagging at knees after season.

Price check

At $178, inline with maternity pricing but at the higher end for a skinny cut.

Best for

Pregnant women who prefer fitted ankles and don't want to abandon their pre-pregnancy skinny aesthetic.

Care

Gentle cycle in cold water; hang-dry to minimize shape loss at knees and ankles.

What owners report about Joe's Jeans jeans

Owners report the line is built around soft, high-stretch denim worn primarily for comfort, and many describe the fit as flattering on curvier figures in particular. Long-term owners report pairs holding up over years of wear, but repeat buyers note inconsistency between purchases in how much the fabric stretches and how thick it feels. Reviewers looking for sturdy, rigid denim say this line is not that — the fabric is light and stretch-heavy by design.

Strengths: Soft, stretch-heavy denim that owners consistently describe as comfortable for all-day wear and flattering, especially on curvier builds.
Watch out for: Repeat buyers report fabric stretch and thickness varying between purchases, and the lightweight stretch denim disappoints anyone expecting a thicker, sturdier jean.
Sizing: Reports split between true-to-size and running big; several reviewers recommend sizing down because the generous, stretchy fit relaxes further with wear.
