Our take
Faherty leans into coastal-casual comfort, and its hoodie is best known for the Legend fabric, a knit-faced fleece reviewers single out for an exceptionally soft, sweater-like hand. Owners praise the softness and the relaxed, lifestyle-leaning cut. The build is premium-leaning, with the honest caveat that the price is high and much of the appeal is the specific soft fabric and the relaxed aesthetic. As a very soft, easygoing everyday hoodie it lands for buyers who prioritise hand-feel and a casual look.

Fit check: Faherty
True to sizeFaherty fits true to size with a deliberately relaxed cut — take your usual size, and only size down on the roomiest dresses and boxy tees if you're between sizes.
Owners and hands-on reviewers consistently report Faherty running true to size, with the slight ease built into the cut rather than a sign to size down. The relaxed silhouette shows up across lines — tees are described as boxy-but-not-oversized, pants run about a half-inch generous in the waist (not enough to change size), and some dresses and boxier tops read roomy enough that between-sizes buyers go down. A minority of owners find pieces large and boxy at their usual size — one Reddit user had a medium tailored — and a few customer reviews flag garment-to-garment inconsistency, but that's the exception in the feedback, not the pattern.
Sizing advice: Order your usual size across the line; if you're between sizes, size down only on roomy dresses and boxy tees — everywhere else stay true, since the relaxed drape is intentional.

How Faherty hoodies hold up overall
Faherty's hoodie range centers on its stretch-knit Legend fabric, and owner feedback is dominated by softness: reviews of the Legend Sweater Hoodie run near-perfect, with owners saying they could wear it daily and asking the brand for more colors. The recurring gripe is fit rather than quality — several owners found the cut larger and boxier than expected at their usual size, with at least one having it altered. Reviewers also flag the price as high for a hoodie.
- Strengths
- Owners consistently report exceptional softness and stretch, describing hoodies comfortable enough for daily wear.
- Watch out for
- Fit is what draws complaints — a share of owners find the cut large and boxy at their normal size and end up tailoring or exchanging — and the price runs high.
- Sizing
- Listed and mostly reported as true to size, but some owners find the cut large and boxy at their usual size, so buyers wanting a trimmer fit have sized down or tailored.
