The verdict

A fair buy for shoppers wanting Diesel's low-rise skinny cut without paying the brand's higher price points.

Fit

Low-waisted and slim through the leg per the Sleenker cut; expect a close fit through the thigh and calf with some stretch for movement.

Quality

Diesel's Sleenker line has been a mainstay of its skinny offerings, so expect standard construction for the category rather than anything exceptional at this price.

Price check

$195 sits toward the lower-middle of Diesel's premium range, reasonable for a recognizable slim-fit style.

Best for

Someone who wants a low-rise skinny jean and prefers a dark, versatile wash.

Care

Wash inside out in cold water to help the dark indigo hold its color.

What owners report about Diesel jeans

Owners describe Diesel's denim as sturdily built: sturdy stitching, heavy-duty zippers, and a cotton-elastane blend that keeps pairs flexible rather than flimsy. On owner forums, people report pairs still fitting well and holding their wash after five to six years of regular wear, describing the jeans as lighter-weight and more comfortable than expected for the style. The cuts are snug through the seat and thigh with room to move rather than a roomy, relaxed fit.

Strengths: Reviewers consistently point to sturdy stitching, heavy-duty zippers, and a fabric blend that stays flexible rather than stiff or flimsy.
Watch out for: The fit runs snug and style-driven rather than roomy, and owners say sizing needs to be chosen carefully to get the cut right.
Sizing: Most owners report the line running true to size across fits from relaxed to skinny, but the cut is snug through the seat and thigh rather than generous.
