The verdict

Women's baggy cargo at 990 USD; a bold silhouette for those committed to relaxed proportions and utility.

Fit

Baggy through hip and thigh with cargo pockets; intentionally oversized and relaxed. Expect significant volume; try a size down if between sizes.

Quality

At this price, Amiri delivers solid construction across the baggy cargo family. The cargo pockets are reinforced; seaming is clean.

Price check

Premium pricing for a relaxed, utility-forward silhouette. The appeal is the Amiri aesthetic and execution; comparable cargo baggies exist at half the cost.

Best for

Women embracing oversized baggy proportions with cargo detail and Amiri's heritage branding.

Care

Wash cold inside-out; cargo pockets trap moisture, so ensure they're turned out during drying.

What owners report about Amiri jeans

Owners report the stretch Italian denim is soft and comfortable, with distressing, patches and leather details largely applied by hand. Reviewers treat the line as delicate: dry-cleaning is recommended over machine washing, leather details should be kept dry, and fresh indigo can bleed onto sneakers. Price is the recurring complaint, with pairs originally sold around $600 now listed above €2,000.

Strengths: Soft stretch Italian denim with hand-done distressing, patching and leather detailing that owners find comfortable to wear.
Watch out for: The jeans are delicate — dye can bleed onto shoes, leather details cannot get wet, and dry-cleaning is advised — while prices have risen steeply from the brand's early years.
Sizing: Reviewers report the fit runs slightly smaller than other brands and stretches only slightly with wear, so consider sizing up for a looser fit.
