Alo Yoga sweatpants: what owners report

Owners describe Alo sweatpants as soft and comfortable, with an intentionally boxy, oversized cut that works rolled down or worn high. The recurring complaint is pilling: an editorial tester reported the fabric started to pill within the first couple of wash cycles, badly enough to need a fabric shaver, and owners on social media echo the same problem appearing within weeks. Several reviewers conclude the comfort is real but the durability does not match the price.

Strengths
Owners consistently praise the softness and the relaxed, oversized fit as genuinely comfortable for lounging and errands.
Watch out for
Pilling is what fails first — reported within the first few washes even without a dryer — with fabric fading also mentioned over time.
Sizing
The cut runs oversized, so reviewers either size down or take their usual size for a deliberately baggy look.
