What owners report about Sunspel sweatpants

Third-party coverage of Sunspel's sweatpants is thin but favorable: one comparative test of the loopback track pant ranked it best overall, crediting the tight-knit cotton loopback fabric as soft, stretchy, warm and pilling-resistant, with a loose-but-not-baggy cut, three pockets and metal-capped drawstring toggles. The recurring criticism is that the loopback interior is noticeably less soft than the exterior. The same tester flagged the price as among the highest in the field, though he planned to buy a second pair. Coverage of the same loopback fabric elsewhere in the sweats range reports it resists pilling better than most sweatshirt materials.

Strengths: A tight-knit loopback fabric reviewers found soft, warm and pilling-resistant, in a clean unbranded design that reviewers say can leave the house.
Watch out for: The loopback interior is noticeably less soft than the exterior, and the price sits at the top of the category.
Sizing: The one detailed review describes the cut as loose but not baggy, with a little elastane at the waistband and cuffs for added stretch.
