Cotton Rib Slim Tank Top
The verdict
Fit
Slim cut through the chest and torso, typical of Reigning Champ's tailored approach. Size true to standard sizing; the slim profile is intentional, not a fit issue.
Quality
Reigning Champ cotton rib is thicker and more refined than mass-market tanks. Stitching is clean, and the ribbed knit holds shape through many washes.
Price check
At $38 for their core cotton rib, this is fair mid-tier pricing. Not a bargain, but you're paying for better construction and fabric density.
Best for
Menswear shoppers who value precise fit and durable basics; those wearing tanks as standalone pieces rather than undershirts.
Care
Machine wash cold, lay flat to dry to prevent stretching and preserve the rib's structure.

What owners report about Reigning Champ tops
Reviewers describe Reigning Champ's tees as soft cotton with flatlock seams and a slim, slightly longer cut suited to average-to-athletic builds. They report the shirts are built to last, holding their shape and color through repeated washing and hard use, and are preshrunk. The main reservation raised is price, with one reviewer noting that at $55 per shirt they would not call it a value buy, though the longevity may justify the cost.
- Strengths
- Reviewers consistently praise the construction, saying the flatlock-seam tees hold their shape and color and are built to last through years of hard use.
- Watch out for
- The lightweight tee runs slim and the price is high, which reviewers flag as a value concern.
- Sizing
- The lightweight tee is a slim fit that runs slightly long; reviewers suggest sizing up or choosing the relaxed midweight version for a baggier fit.
