What owners report about Re/Done shorts

Owners describe rigid, 100% cotton denim with restrained distressing — a little fraying rather than heavy destruction — that holds its shape after the first wash and through repeat wears. The recurring friction is sizing: one shorts reviewer found her usual size tight through the hips while the next size up ran long and looser, and reviewers note the all-cotton fabric shrinks slightly in the wash. The cuts also run short in the leg, and the price is high for a pair of cutoffs.

Strengths: Reviewers report the rigid cotton denim keeps its shape wash after wash, with distressing that reads subtle rather than beat-up.
Watch out for: Sizing between adjacent sizes is the common failure point — one size pulls tight at the hips while the next runs long and large — at a price that punishes a wrong guess.
Sizing: Because the 100% cotton denim shrinks slightly in the wash, reviewers advise sizing up from a tight fit, and ordering two adjacent sizes to compare is common.
