A versatile 3-inch short from Outdoor Voices—designed for multiple activities and priced at the brand's everyday level.

What owners report about Outdoor Voices shorts

Reviewers of the RecTrek shorts describe a very stretchy, durable fabric with deep trouser-style hand pockets that hold a phone securely, and note the colorblock seams have held up well in use. The main criticism is that the fabric sits at the heavy, thick end for shorts, making them better suited to cooler days than dedicated summer use. Broader owner feedback describes the brand's clothing as well-made with good freedom of movement, though the pricing draws comment.

Strengths: Stretchy, durable shorts with genuinely useful deep pockets that reviewers say hold up well.
Watch out for: The fabric runs heavy and thick for shorts, so owners find them warm for hot-weather activity.
Sizing: Reviewers advise ordering your normal size and sizing up if between sizes.
