The verdict

Mavi's slub pocket tee in black at $30.80 for men—solid option combining durability, texture, and everyday practicality.

Fit

Slub-knit black with a pocket; reads more intentional than a basic crew while remaining totally versatile. Fit M0613012 is Mavi's standard men's cut; true to size.

Quality

Slub construction resists pilling better than single-jersey basics. At $30.80, seams are solid and the yarn quality is mid-range—expect 18–24 months of regular wear.

Price check

Fair mid-range pricing for a textured black tee with pocket detail. You're paying for construction quality and the detail, both of which justify the price.

Best for

Men wanting an everyday black tee with visible quality and function (pocket) that goes with everything.

Care

Wash cold and inside out to preserve the black dye; dry on low to avoid fading and pilling.

What owners report about Mavi t-shirts

Mavi's t-shirt range draws almost no dedicated third-party coverage — owner reports about the brand concentrate on its denim. At brand level, the recurring theme in owner feedback is dye and color durability: Trustpilot reviewers report tops that faded or looked unlike the product photos, complaint-site reviews describe visible color fading and discoloration on garments, and a Reddit thread documents garment-dyed pieces losing color in the first wash. No substantive owner reports specifically praising or faulting the tees themselves were found.

Watch out for: Color fading and dye durability are the recurring complaints across Mavi tops and garment-dyed pieces, sometimes after a single wash.
