Fern Leaf Shawl

Our softest shawl carefully knitted from mohair and silk, inspired by the delicate maidenhair fern that grows from the damp crevices of the island's limestone pavement. From the family of the Ribbon fern, it has delicate fan-shape leaf clusters which we have emulated in an all-over pattern. Extremely lightweight and lofty, this uniquely nature-inspired, beautiful knit shawl can be gathered and worn as a soft neck-warmer, or spread out around the shoulders to its full width as an elegant occasion accessory. This generously outsized shawl measures 70cm x 180cm.

Available in Khaki Marl, a beautiful mélange of olive with tones of rust, and a versatile earthy Brown. Also available in deep Teal and Rust Marl, a deep, fiery shade with faint amber hints. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
