The verdict

A solid sale grab for shoppers seeking a classic denim jacket at a fair mid-tier price.

Fit

Trucker jackets fit snug through the shoulders and chest with a straight silhouette. Size to true fit; Hudson tends to cut true.

Quality

Hudson's denim construction is reliable at this tier. Expect welted seams and brass hardware, though not premium detailing.

Price check

At $133 on sale, this is fair for Hudson's casual denim line—typical of the brand's price-to-durability ratio.

Best for

Everyday layering for denim lovers who value a clean, minimal aesthetic over statement detailing.

Care

Cold water, inside-out wash to preserve indigo; air dry to avoid shrinkage.

What owners report about Hudson Jeans jackets & outerwear

Owners of Hudson's denim trucker jackets report a soft-handed cotton with some weight to it, and washes that reviewers describe as looking genuinely vintage rather than artificially aged. The fit reads fitted and cropped rather than roomy, so buyers wanting an oversized look tend to size up. A recurring caveat is durability: at least one owner noted heavy distressing that led to shredding, saying it may not hold up like a plainer denim jacket.

Strengths: Reviewers consistently praise the soft, weighty denim and the convincing, non-fake vintage wash and distressing.
Watch out for: Some owners report significant shredding on heavily distressed styles, questioning long-term durability.
Sizing: Owners say it runs fitted and cropped, so size up if you want a looser or oversized fit.
