The verdict

The cheapest short in this lineup, a genuinely budget conditioning short with no frills, fine for casual gym use only.

Fit

Expect a relaxed, true-to-size fit with a longer 7-inch inseam; likely a basic woven short without compression.

Quality

At $12, this is entry-level even by Gymshark's own standards, expect basic fabric and construction, adequate for light, occasional training rather than daily heavy use.

Price check

Genuinely budget-priced; fair as a low-commitment option, but don't expect it to hold up like the brand's mid-tier or seamless lines.

Best for

Someone wanting a cheap, casual conditioning short for occasional gym trips or lounging.

Care

Wash cold and air dry; frequent heavy use may wear the basic fabric faster than pricier options.

What owners report about Gymshark shorts

Across Gymshark's shorts range, owners consistently report the fit runs true to size with a stretchy, comfortable waistband, and the heavier training styles hold up through repeated sweaty sessions and washes without issue -- one owner said a pair 'came out good as new' after three workouts and a wash. Quality is less consistent on the thinner, budget-priced lines: reviewers describe some shorts as feeling like 'a sandwich bag on your legs,' with logos peeling off after a single wear and fabric snagging into holes early on.

Strengths: Owners across multiple lines report the fit runs true to size with a stretchy feel that holds up through repeated sweaty workouts and washes.
Watch out for: The thinner, budget-priced shorts draw recurring complaints about flimsy, plastic-feeling fabric, snagged holes, and logos peeling off after a single wear.
Sizing: Most owners across the range report the shorts fit true to size.
