The verdict

A basic casual short in Gymshark's lifestyle line, priced to match — buy it for off-duty wear, not for training.

Fit

9-inch inseam runs longer than Gymshark's training shorts, likely a relaxed, non-technical cut typical of the brand's casual lifestyle pieces.

Quality

At $13 this sits in Gymshark's most basic tier — expect a simple cotton-blend build, not the fabric quality of its performance lines.

Price check

Genuinely budget-priced for the category, and the price looks fair for a plain casual short rather than inflated.

Best for

Everyday off-duty wear, travel days, and casual outfits rather than the gym.

Care

Machine wash cold and tumble dry low to keep the shape.

What owners report about Gymshark shorts

Across Gymshark's shorts range, owners consistently report the fit runs true to size with a stretchy, comfortable waistband, and the heavier training styles hold up through repeated sweaty sessions and washes without issue -- one owner said a pair 'came out good as new' after three workouts and a wash. Quality is less consistent on the thinner, budget-priced lines: reviewers describe some shorts as feeling like 'a sandwich bag on your legs,' with logos peeling off after a single wear and fabric snagging into holes early on.

Strengths: Owners across multiple lines report the fit runs true to size with a stretchy feel that holds up through repeated sweaty workouts and washes.
Watch out for: The thinner, budget-priced shorts draw recurring complaints about flimsy, plastic-feeling fabric, snagged holes, and logos peeling off after a single wear.
Sizing: Most owners across the range report the shorts fit true to size.
