The verdict

An entry-level casual short at a very low price; fine for lounging or light activity, not the brand's technical training gear.

Quality

Expect simple, basic construction typical of the brand's entry-priced casual line rather than technical training fabric.

At $9 this is priced as a true basic, fair for casual wear but not built to training-shorts standards.

Best for

Casual everyday wear or light activity rather than serious workouts.

Care

Machine wash cold and avoid high heat to keep the fit from shrinking.

What owners report about Gymshark shorts

Across Gymshark's shorts range, owners consistently report the fit runs true to size with a stretchy, comfortable waistband, and the heavier training styles hold up through repeated sweaty sessions and washes without issue -- one owner said a pair 'came out good as new' after three workouts and a wash. Quality is less consistent on the thinner, budget-priced lines: reviewers describe some shorts as feeling like 'a sandwich bag on your legs,' with logos peeling off after a single wear and fabric snagging into holes early on.

Strengths: Owners across multiple lines report the fit runs true to size with a stretchy feel that holds up through repeated sweaty workouts and washes.
Watch out for: The thinner, budget-priced shorts draw recurring complaints about flimsy, plastic-feeling fabric, snagged holes, and logos peeling off after a single wear.
Sizing: Most owners across the range report the shorts fit true to size.
