The verdict

Fear of God mainline wide leg at 475 makes sense only if construction and textile quality genuinely exceed basics brands.

Fit

Wide leg cut; the '26' reference suggests a deliberate silhouette code. Expect a relaxed, straight drop with a contemporary proportion.

Quality

Fear of God mainline typically delivers clean finishing and durable loop-back. At this price, construction integrity should be evident.

Price check

475 USD is high for sweatpants unless the fabric weight, seam quality, and tailoring detail justify the premium over mid-tier alternatives.

Best for

Buyers who prioritize Fear of God's aesthetic and design editing over commodity comfort.

Care

Standard cold wash; inspect seams and hems after laundering for any stress.

What owners report about Fear of God sweatpants

Reviewers call sweatpants the strongest category in the Fear of God Essentials line, mostly on the strength of the proportions: a relaxed, slightly tapered leg with an elastic waist and cuffs that sits between baggy and fitted. The same coverage is blunt that the fabric is good rather than exceptional, with a brand premium built into the price. Reviewers also note past-season pairs often sell at or below retail on resale platforms, which improves the value.

Strengths: Reviewers rate the fit and proportions — a subtle taper and a rise that sits comfortably — as the main reason to buy.
Watch out for: The consistent caveat is that material quality is good, not great, and part of the price is the name rather than the fabric.
Sizing: The fit is oversized, and sizing guides consistently recommend going down one size from your usual.
