The verdict
A solidly priced cropped denim jacket for shoppers wanting a black-on-black denim look without paying Diesel's higher leather prices.
Fit
Cropped length suggests it sits at or above the waist; true to size for a fitted cropped silhouette, size up for more room.
Quality
Monochrome (tonal) denim treatment is a finishing detail; expect construction consistent with Diesel's standard denim jackets at this tier.
Price check
At $197 this is on the more reasonable end of the range and fair value for a Diesel denim jacket, assuming standard fit and finish.
Best for
Someone wanting a cropped, all-black denim jacket as a compact layering piece.
Care
Wash inside out and infrequently to preserve the black tone from fading.
