An additional and removable button-secured pocket on the inside allows you to keep additional supplies or honing stones nearby and on hand when they're needed. A waxed canvas flap on the interior covers stored knives to keep them securely in place when rolled as well as helps to protect your fingers and hands from sharp blade edges when rolling and unrolling the organizer. Metal roller buckles and leather straps keep the organizer secure when rolled up and will easily outlast plastic buckles.
