Teca Fleece Hooded Full-Zip Jacket - Women's

Editorial testers rate Cotopaxi's recycled-polyester fleece zip-ups as very warm and structurally hard-wearing, with one multi-month test reporting zero signs of wear and little to no pilling. Owner reports are more mixed: one detailed owner review found the fleece coarser than expected for the price, the nylon collar lining itchy and cold, and the hand pockets lined with slick nylon instead of fleece. Breathability is the most consistent criticism across sources — these run warm and bulky rather than technical, so they suit casual cold-weather wear better than high-output activity.

Strengths

Reviewers report the dense fleece is genuinely warm and holds up structurally, with one long-term test finding essentially no pilling or wear.

Watch out for

Owners flag poor breathability, a nylon-lined collar and pockets that feel cold and cheap, and a cut that reads slim in the shoulders but loose at the waist.

Sizing

Fit reports conflict — editorial testers call the fit loose and casual, while one detailed owner review found it slim in the chest and shoulders with sleeves that ride up short, so length-sensitive buyers should check measurements before ordering.
