The verdict

Malibu in sky blue (gendered to women's sizing)—a bright neutral that's more versatile than neon while staying playful.

Fit

Boyfriend crop cut for women's fit, which typically means shorter sleeve and torso relative to unisex versions. Cropped cut remains consistent with line.

Quality

Sky blue dye is more traditional than neon, meaning better color hold through washing. Quality is standard for Aviator Nation.

Price check

At 89 USD for a women's-cut destination tee in a cheerful solid, fairly priced for the brand.

Best for

Women shoppers who want bright, warm color in a boyfriend crop that leans toward their proportions.

Care

Wash in cold water to preserve the sky-blue tone; avoid bleach.

What owners report about Aviator Nation t-shirts

Owners describe Aviator Nation tees as very soft with a vintage, slightly boxy cut and raw-edge hems that roll a little; the pieces are hand-sewn in Los Angeles, which reviewers cite to explain the high prices. Fit feedback is consistent: the tees run small with a noticeably small neck opening, and owners size up. Quality reports are polarized — comfort and color draw praise, but reviewers on aggregate review sites report thin-feeling fabric, pilling, and shrinkage and dye bleed in the wash, which they call out as unacceptable at this price.

Strengths: Owners repeatedly praise the softness, comfort, and distinctive colors of the made-in-LA tees.
Watch out for: The most common complaints are thin-feeling fabric that pills, shrinkage and dye bleed in the wash, and quality that reviewers say does not match the price.
Sizing: Owners consistently report the tees run small — including a tight neck opening — and recommend sizing up, sometimes for extra length too.
