The verdict

Oversized brown collab option; suits buyers who want Padres branding in a relaxed, layering-friendly cut.

Fit

Boyfriend fit with roomy body and dropped shoulders. Brown fabric suits oversizing well, creating a grounded, casual silhouette.

Quality

Same mid-tier jersey as crew versions. Brown's relative neutral makes any pilling or wear less obvious cosmetically.

Price check

$89 maintains the collab pricing. The boyfriend fit is visual preference, not a quality upgrade.

Best for

Casual layering and relaxed weekend wear; fans who gravitate toward muted tones in their rotation.

Care

Cool wash with gentle cycle; brown's tendency to shift with heat means hang drying is preferred.

What owners report about Aviator Nation t-shirts

Owners describe Aviator Nation tees as very soft with a vintage, slightly boxy cut and raw-edge hems that roll a little; the pieces are hand-sewn in Los Angeles, which reviewers cite to explain the high prices. Fit feedback is consistent: the tees run small with a noticeably small neck opening, and owners size up. Quality reports are polarized — comfort and color draw praise, but reviewers on aggregate review sites report thin-feeling fabric, pilling, and shrinkage and dye bleed in the wash, which they call out as unacceptable at this price.

Strengths: Owners repeatedly praise the softness, comfort, and distinctive colors of the made-in-LA tees.
Watch out for: The most common complaints are thin-feeling fabric that pills, shrinkage and dye bleed in the wash, and quality that reviewers say does not match the price.
Sizing: Owners consistently report the tees run small — including a tight neck opening — and recommend sizing up, sometimes for extra length too.
