The verdict

A striped men's shirt that balances casual appeal with refined construction; priced fairly for the brand.

Fit

As a men's piece, the Roy likely has a straight shoulder and fuller chest than women's cuts. Beaudry Stripe suggests a classic pattern; anticipate true sizing with room for layering.

Quality

AGOLDE's men's line holds the same construction standards: durable seams, quality buttons, and fabric that ages well. Stripes can show wear faster on fold lines.

Price check

At 268 USD, competitive with mid-to-premium men's shirting. Fair value if the stripe appeals; the label premium is noticeable but justified by build quality.

Best for

Men who want a striped shirt that reads refined rather than business-casual, with durability for regular wear.

Care

Stripe shirts benefit from line drying to maintain color depth and avoid fabric stress at fold points.

What owners report about AGOLDE button-ups

Coverage of AGOLDE's button-up shirt line is limited and centers on fit rather than long-term quality. The brand describes styles like the Roux as true to size, but retailer and sizing-guide feedback points the other way: shoppers report the shirts run large and generally suggest sizing down, consistent with the relaxed, oversized silhouettes AGOLDE is known for. There is little independent owner reporting on fabric durability or value for the shirts specifically.

Watch out for: The most consistent note is that the shirts run large relative to the brand's stated true-to-size fit.
Sizing: Reviewers and retailer fit notes recommend sizing down if you want a closer fit, since the shirts read oversized.
