The verdict

An excellent warm-weather layer at under $200; linen breathability at AG's fit standards makes this a solid seasonal choice.

Fit

Classic trucker proportions in a lightweight linen weave. The fabric drapes more loosely than denim; expect natural movement and wrinkles.

Quality

Linen construction (tag "GYL") is appropriate for the warm season. AG's tailoring and seaming is reliable; the weight is lower than denim but finishing is solid.

Price check

Strong value for a linen jacket. At $188, you're paying for AG's fit and finishing, not expensive materials—fairly positioned.

Best for

Shoppers needing a breathable spring/summer overshirt or layering piece without denim weight.

Care

Linen wrinkles significantly; dry clean for formal wear or hand-wash and steam-press frequently.

What owners report about AG Jeans jackets & outerwear

Owners of the trucker and denim jackets report that they fit true to size, with several noting the cut is roomy enough to layer a sweater underneath. Buyers praise the denim itself, calling the fit great and the fabric awesome, and describe the pieces as substantial rather than cheap. A recurring theme is that the jackets feel worth the higher price once worn.

Strengths: Reviewers consistently praise the fit and the quality of the denim, with more than one calling it close to a perfect denim jacket.
Watch out for: Buyers repeatedly flag that the jackets are not inexpensive, framing them as a splurge.
Sizing: Reviewers report the jackets run true to size and leave room to layer.
