TRUCKER JACKET in MANKIND Shadow
The verdict
Fit
Classic trucker silhouette—boxy shoulders, standard length. Denim in this price range typically runs true to size; the wash looks broken-in without aggressive distressing.
Quality
Mid-tier branded denim. Seams are reinforced adequately; expect color to fade evenly with washing but longevity depends on frequency of wear.
Price check
Mid pricing. Comparable denim truckers run $300–450; this sits comfortably in that range.
Best for
Women who prefer no-fuss, classic denim styling; neutral enough for layering over tees, dresses, or worn solo.
Care
Wash cold inside-out to preserve color; avoid bleach and high heat.

What owners report about 7 For All Mankind jackets & outerwear
Independent coverage of this jacket line is thin — mostly per-item owner and renter feedback rather than editorial reviews. Owners of the denim trucker jackets consistently describe soft denim with noticeable stretch that does not feel stiff, and most mark the fit true to size. Fit reports conflict at the margins: some renters found the arms and shoulders roomy enough to size down, while a rental-platform staff reviewer found one style running slightly small with some stretch. An owner review of the leather moto jacket praised soft, supple leather and solid construction.
- Strengths
- Owners repeatedly single out the soft, stretch-woven denim that feels comfortable from the first wear rather than stiff.
- Watch out for
- There is little independent editorial coverage of the jackets, and fit feedback conflicts by style, so buyers cannot rely on one sizing rule across the line.
- Sizing
- On the widely reviewed denim trucker, 111 of 145 renter reviews mark it true to size, with small minorities finding it big or small.
