Is a large the same garment across brands?

Every product page on this site carries a fit note, and the size guides we compare come from the brands themselves. What none of that settles is whether a large in one brand is the same garment as a large in another. Two shirts can share a label and fit like different sizes, and the only way to know is to have worn both.

So this is the thread for that. Name two brands, the size you take in each, and whether they match. If one runs big or small against the other, say where: chest, shoulders, sleeve, length. If you have found two brands that line up so well you can order either without thinking, that is worth writing down too.

Keep it to garments you have actually worn. A guess from a size chart is what we already have.
