How we track prices

• We read each brand's own store every 14 days, and a small panel of pieces every day.
• A piece is listed when its price is at least 15 percent and $10 under every price we saw in the 30 days before it fell.
• That earlier price held at two or more of our checks, at least 28 days apart.
• We saw the lower price on two or more days, and a very large fall waits one more day.
• One price across every size in stock when we first saw each price.
• Only prices we read from the store's own site. Never a store's crossed-out price.
• A piece leaves the list when its price goes back up, or when our last check is more than 21 days old.
